There are three companies which make up this group, Metel Trading LLC, started up in 1982, Metel Industries set up 1995 and finally Metel Engineering in Doha, Qatar formed in 2002. MIL has a NC controlled workshop machinery and testing laboratory with ISO 9001:2008 accreditation. The activities of this company consists of production of packaged transfer / booster pump-sets, UL / FM fire pump-sets, generating sets, electric control panels and control centers, as well as all value addition jobs to trading activities with in-house fabrication, welding and other machine jobs. MIL also provides after sales service for electro-mechanical products supplied by group companies.

MEW was setup as a branch of Metel Group Of Companies in 1997, offering the same products and services, to the land based and the gas industry in Qatar. MEW is also a service oriented company offering diversified services to the industry and service back up for the products offered by group companies.
